Gaslift Options

Standard gaslifts

The gaslifts that are fitted to our standard-height swivel chairs allow a seat height range of approximately 130mm, starting from a seat height of around 420mm lifting to around 550mm.

Our swivel chairs are designed to be used at standard sitting-height desks and tables, which are approximately 700mm to 750mm high. Most users need the seat height to be about 200mm to 300mm below the top of the desk.

Gaslift height standard

HighLifts

High gaslifts can be fitted to many of our swivel chairs, and they are fitted with a footring as standard.

HighLift chairs typically have a seat height range of approximately 250mm, starting from a seat height of around 580mm lifting to around 830mm.

The height of the footring is independently adjustable. It can be loosened by the knob to slide up or down the gaslift column.

HighLift chairs are designed to be used at high benches which are approximately 900mm to 1100mm high. Most users need the seat height to be about 200mm to 300mm below the top of the desk.

Gaslift height HighLift

Mid Lifts

Mid height gaslifts can be fitted to many of our swivel chairs.

Chairs fitted with Mid Lifts typically have a seat height range of approximately 180mm, starting from a seat height of around 490mm lifting to around 670mm.

Mid Lifts are most commonly used with a desk or table that is approximately 800mm to 900mm high. Most users need the seat height to be about 200mm to 300mm below the top of the desk.

Gaslift height Mid Lift

Low lifts

Many of our swivel chairs can be fitted with a Low Lift which allows the chair to sit lower than the standard gaslift.

When fitted with a Low Lift, chairs typically have a seat height range of approximately 120mm, starting from a seat height of around 380mm lifting to around 500mm.

Low Lifts are most commonly chosen for very slight users who may not be able to reach the floor with a standard gaslift. Most users need the seat height to be about 200mm to 300mm below the top of the desk.
